Multi-5

The Multi-5 is a new AB axes cutting head rail system for retrofitting to existing pure waterjet machines to enable a 5 axes cutting function. Fitted with up to 6 cutting heads to give high productivity where 5 axes cutting is required. Also available as part of a new waterjet system from QteC.
 

SteelWave

A new type of cutting plan designed to reduce, or as in most cases remove the necessity to use expensive underlay materials. With minimal backsplash from the individual exchangeable wave elements, productivity can also be increased by removing the need to continuously replace underlay material between cutting cycles.

Flip-Pod™

The Carter Flip-Pod® Vacuum Piece Part Holding System utilizes vacuum power to hold wood, plastic or non-ferrous metal parts for machine processing. That sounds conventional. But this new system offers very special advantages over previous methods.
The grid of "pods" fitted into the pod panel surface, provide sure control of vacuum in the desired areas without time wasting "spoil boards" or other methods. The benefits are substantial time savings, cost reduction, and added efficiency.
Flip-Pod can be adjusted to almost all machinery on the marked.

How does it work

Adaptable to almost any CNC router equipped with a vacuum pump and table, the Flip-Pod system replaces the more traditional spoil-board with a Flip-Pod panel made of tough UHMW or phenolic material. Into this panel are routed a pattern of circular cavities, each of which can hold a single Flip-Pod. Each Pod can be placed in either the down position (flush with the top of the panel) or the up position (raised approximately 1 1/8 inch above the panel). In the down position, each pod acts as a vacuum switch, preventing airflow through the cavity. In the up position, the pods allow vacuum to act through the cavity and pod to hold the underside of the material being processed. Thus the material is firmly held in a raised position above the router table surface making it easy to perform edge boring or edge shaping.
